HAM RADIO LICENSE / AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE
Testing
Ham Radio License Test Information
Ready to get tested for your ham radio license? Need to renew your existing license? We’ve got you covered. We were one of the only testing facilities open during the COVID shutdown. We’re dedicated to the amateur radio community. This is one of the main reasons people search for our club.
Test sessions are usually held on the last Saturday of the month at 10 am at the Elmore County Amateur Radio Clubhouse located at 315 W. Jackson Street in Mountain Home. You can test at all 3 levels. Amateur radio license renewal is also available.
All amateur radio license tests are $15.00 (cash or check payable to ARRL VEC) and you will need to bring your Drivers License/Photo ID.
In addition, you will need to get an FCC Registration Number (FRN) through the FCC. Click here to register.
If you decide to test, please contact Herb Rogow (KF7GMV) via phone at: 208-371-2428.
